If the noise appeared after you stressed the machine by driving it beyond it's abilities then you might have thrown the machine out of time. Breaking a needle while sewing, sewing through too many layers can also do it. Using the incorrect size plastic bobbin can make noise like yours too. These are things to check. Also improper thread path taken could cause noise. Make sure the thread is in all the places and clicks into the furrows of the thread path.MAKE SURE THE BOBBIN IS THE CORRECT WIDTH AND SIZE!!!  Usually problems such as this can be resolved by doing a few simple steps and you can usually change out most  shuttles for around 30.00 dollars for the piece. You can also take it to a sewing center, but at least you will have an idea what they need to repair. There a variety of issues a machinee can have when it makes distressing noises such as yours. I would immediately change needles for a fresh one. I would check for a loose or broken piece in the shuttle area. (Where the bobbin is placed). Look for lint and thread debris. If the black plastic shuttle appears loose remove it and examine it closely. There may be a worn area or a small break. It may be misaligned and not all the wy pressed in. Have you made tension adjustments to the thread? if so refer to your manual and reset the default.
