Bernina 350 Pe: The Thread Jams.

Bernina 350 PE: The thread jams so that it is difficult to pull it out from both the needle side and the top (bobbin side). It's not a question of putting the thread on correctly, because I've been sewing for many years.Marzenna

Check the needle: Ensure that you're using the correct needle for the type of fabric you're sewing. A dull or bent needle can cause thread jams. Try replacing the needle with a new one and make sure it's inserted correctly.

Bobbin issues: Remove the bobbin case and bobbin from the machine. Inspect the bobbin for any tangles, lint, or thread buildup. Clean the bobbin area using a small brush or compressed air to remove any debris. Reinsert the bobbin correctly, ensuring it rotates smoothly.

Thread tension: Improper thread tension can lead to thread jams. Check the upper thread tension settings and make sure they are correctly adjusted for the fabric you're using. Refer to your machine's manual for guidance on adjusting the tension.

Thread quality and type: Low-quality or old thread can cause jams. Ensure you're using good quality thread that is suitable for your project. Also, check if the thread is compatible with the needle size you're using.

Bobbin threading: Double-check the bobbin threading. Ensure the thread is properly threaded through the bobbin case, and the bobbin is inserted correctly into the machine.

Machine maintenance: Regular cleaning and maintenance of your sewing machine are essential. Consult your machine's manual for instructions on cleaning and oiling. Remove any lint or debris from the feed dogs, bobbin case, and needle area.

If you've tried the above steps and are still experiencing thread jams, it might be best to contact a professional sewing machine technician or the Bernina customer support for further assistance. They can provide specific troubleshooting advice or recommend repairs if necessary.
