How To Get Bank Of America To Release The Lien On My Fully Paid For Car?
Financed a car from my bank. Bank of America took over my bank. The car is payed off, but Bank of America will not release the lien. They say that they have no record of the lien, no record of an account with them, and no record of the car. I explained that the financing was originally done under my old bank. They still will not release the lien. What are my options here?

did youever get this resolved? BofA has not provided lien release from 20 years ago on a loan paid off in 1991 held by a bank BofA purchased in 1992. VERY FRUSTRATING! Thank you for your reply.
