Asus C54x Needs Repair
When I start it, it told me to select mode to restart and it turned black few minutes later. Can you tell me what problems might cause it?

It sounds much like a failed motherboard (could be just the GPU only). The video here www.youtube.com/watch?v=IbwY96pPDyE should be of great help. You also want to try it without the HDD, DVD drive, and any other parts that are not necessary for startup.
