Hello my name is Jeffrey and I work for ASUS Customer Loyalty Team
What you have to do to remove the table stand is there are two screws on the top of the stand on the back of the monitor. Unscrew those and the stand should come off.
If you still have problems please email at [email protected] with C1042-359 in the subject line as well a photo of the back of you monitor.
