How Replacing Dc-jacket Of Asus V6800v

Hello my name is Jeffrey and I work for ASUS Customer Loyalty Team
If you want to replace the DC jacket you will have to purchase a spare dc jacket from a component store. Once you have the spare part you need to use a heat gun or a solder iron and heat up the jacket. Once the jacket gets hot enough you should be able to remove the jacket. Be careful as other parts may be loose as well. Once you have the bad pard removed. Clean the board of the excess solder. All you have to do now is just solder the pins onto the board.
If your motherboard is under warranty I would suggest to send it in for service.
