Acer Power.
Hi,my acer aspire x3470 was shutdown as usual the other night with a normal power off,now today when i came to use it,there is no power at all,it will not turn on,the wire from the plug is ok?

Plug the power cable into the laptop. Try to power on. If it does not power on, we know that the battery is not the issue because if you have it plugged in then it should turn on no matter what.
In this case you have either a dead motherboard or a defective power adapter. Does your power adapter have an LED that glows green or red when you plug it in? Many of them have this. If you plug in the ac adapter and that LED does not turn on, then you should replace the adapter. If it does not have any LED to let you know if it's working, then you just have to guess whether it's the adapter or the laptop motherboard which is defective.
If I wer eyou, I would spend 20 or so bucks to get a new power adapter and try it out (this is cheaper than replacing motherboard). if it still doesnt work, you definitely have a defective motherboard. A defective motherboard means you should simply get a new laptop because the motherboard is VERY VERY expensive to replace or fix on a laptop. good luck
