This seems to be a regular question regarding freezing after a shrt time. It seems to be commonly caused by a faulty battery.
1--Switch of laptop - Disconnect charging unit, Remove battery- press power button for about 30 seconds-this discharges the Laptop completely. Then put battery back in and try to start the laptop.
If the Laptop will not start from the battery only, then there is most likely a fault with the batterry.
If the Laptop starts up O.K, then see if the problem returns after a short time-.
If the problem is still there, shut down, and remove the battery, and just connect the power supply unit, and startup without the battery.
If this solves the problem, I would suggest that the battery is replaced. Thia freezing does often seem to be battery linked.
If none of my previous suggestions work, I would check the Ram modules- this is usually just a matter of removing and replacing which helps remake any faulty connection in the ram slots.
