Motherboard Replacement
I recently took my dropped Acer Aspire 9410-2829 laptop to Fry's electronics to have it repaired. They had me order a DC jack. After saying it was fixed to come pick it up they mentioned when i got there that the motherboard needed replacing. They said it would be cheaper to just buy a new laptop but I need to know how much it might be to replace the motherboard, Can you tell me what motherboard I need to purchase and what the cost may be to also have it installed. Thank You

You can swap the board yourself with help around the net. One example is here: http://repair4laptop.org/disassembly_acer.html
Expect the price to vary depending on what vendor you go to. eBay is usually the cheapest.
