How Do I Reset The Password (login) For When I First Login To The Computer.

I have forgotten the main pasword for the computer. How can I reset it. It asks for a floppy or USB frive which I do not have.

What operating system are you running on the acer? You can grab a cheap usb drive from staples, walmart etc.. you only need a small drive. Let me know and then i can probably help you.

The USB or floppy that your computer is asking is the password recovery disk. You can only recover the password of your computer if you have created this password recovery disk before you have forgotten your password. There is no other remedy for recovering your password. The best solution is to reformat the entire hard disk drive and reinstall your operating system.
