My Blue And Yellow Lights Keep Flasing And My Acer Aspire 5750z Wont Start

If the laptop does not go into windows-It could have gone into standby, hibernation, or, sleep mode- try pressing any key, or, the spacebar-or, lightly press the start btton to see if it will come out of sleep/hibernation.

Otherwise, This sounds vey much like a battery/power supply problem.

I see many laptops that have the amber light flashing when the battery is too discharged, or, past its best, and not charging.

I suggest that you remove the charger, remove the battery, and then press and hold down the start buton for about 30 seconds , and then just connect the charge unit, without fitting the battery.

If it shows the mains charge light then the power supplyn is charging, if it does not then you could have a daulty wer supply unit.

If it starts ok, then give it a few minutes before shutting down. Then shut down, and disconnect power supply, replace battery, and reconnect the power supply. If it starts up, then check the lights are working , not flashing.If they continue to flash, it could be the battery, if it worked ok with just the charge unit connected.
