Wireless Printer Not Connecting

My laptop (acer aspire 5733) will not connect to my wireless printer.

what is your printer brand and Modal no..........
install printer driver correctly

The printer is a canon Pixma mx420. We have reinstalled it the printer driver from the site. It send the document saying its printing then moments later says there is an error and doesnt print. i have also noticed that it says no lan connection and doesnt find the printer
