Disable Keyboard

How do I disable keyboard on acer aspire 5733 because the buttons are stuck and I am usin usb keyboard instead and need to disable the laptop keyboard

You can't disable the keyboard in device manager. You can only uninstall drivers for it and then windows will automatically reinstall them.

Depending on your motherboard type it is possible that there is a BIOS option to disable the default keyboard. However I wouldn’t count on it. You might have to manually detach the keyboard from the motherboard. When you open up the laptop there should be a little ribbon cord connecting the two. Just detach it from either side and you should be OK .
