Acer Laptop Wont Turn On.
I have have my acer laptop for 5 months. Today it just crashed. I can not get it to turn on. I plugged it in and tried again. Do I need a new battery and where to I get them?

If the laptop shows no signs of power, it is most likely the battery. What I mean by "no signs of power" is their are no fans running and no lights on. If this is true, you can get a battery online at Amazon, eBay, and probably hundreds of other stores, just search google shopping for your specific battery. If you wish to buy a battery offline look for a battery store in your area they will most likely have a lithium ion battery, which is what your laptop uses.

Sounds like a bad AC adapter to me. I used an Acer laptop for a few years until I got tired of replacing my AC adapter. For some reason the power cord would stop working. I finally purchased a Universal Notebook AC adapter and all is fine. I don't use it much anymore because I upgraded, but it still works when I turn in on.
