How Do I Rollback My Bios To A Previous Version?
I have an Acer Aspire One 725-0670. It was working fine with BIOS version 1. I had a battery problem and thought a BIOS update might help so I went to the Acer site and downloaded & installed their BIOS for this specific model - Version 1.08 Shortly after I noticed the blue screen of death (bsod) happening after about an hour of use or immedialtely after I re-open the lid & power back up. I surmise it might be the updated BIOS causing this. I could not find a version 1 of the BIOS on the Acer site but did find a version 1.05 When I went to install 1.05 InsydeFlash V5.08 (the BIOS install program they use) came back and said "The version of ROM file is not newer than that of BIOS".
