What Do I Have To Do To Continue My Att.net Account?

We were sent a notice that att was going to discontinue service as of march 31, 2010.  After checking with several att customer service reps, we were given various answers from 1) they had no idea att was changing anything to 2) we need dial up phone numbers to connect to your service.  With a cable modem connection, we have not used a dial up service since 1994!   What's up???????????

I don't think you have to do anything. My instructions for this change are to change my "old" dialup email acct id from @worldnet.att.net  to  @att.net  because worldnet services will no longer be available, but will integrate with att services. I believe, that if you have only an @att.net email id, that you are good. When I got AT&T dsl, I kept my worldnet.att.net email id, and this is what will change to att.net  Hope this helps. Please read the notice again and see if this isn't the case.
