Response To Request

I submitted a request for deferment and acording to the chart on the website should have received a response on Sept. 13.  I did not.  I have repeatedly emailed ACS.  No response.  The phone number is unresponsive to actual persons. I am still in grace period.  No one told me that the request could not be considered until the first day out of grace period.  No one told me that even then, it would be 7 to 10 days to receive a response.  I finally got a human on the phone who said "it cannot be processed during grace period" I have other loans with Great Lakes.  I am still in grace period with them as well.  They processed my request immediately and I had a response in less than 24 hours.  If you cannot process requests that are in grace, do you not think you should inform those who are checking daily and emailing you for information?  Better yet, perhaps you could have informed me that you would not process the request until my grace period was over.  There was no such information.  I expected, at least, a response to my numerous emails.    I am a responsible person and I take my financial obligations seriously.   I hope you can communicate something, at least, to me prior to the end of my grace period.    Thank you.
