How Does The Staff Attitude/philosphy Toward Customers Differ

How does the staff attitude/philosphy toward customers differ from other fitness clubs? Some are tough like Jillian Michaels, some kind of coddle their customers.

They are very friendly (in my experience) and they are less likely than some other places to shame you for needing to get into shape
