Open the hinged cover. 1 2. Insert the bobbin so that the bobbin is important to the left and then right until it enters the delivery eyelet under the tension spring. 4 25 GETTING READY It is turning in a clockwise direction. 3 4. Pull the thread through the slot, to be sure that the bobbin turns in a clockwise direction (arrow). 2 3. Press the needle position button to raise the needle before inserting or removing the bobbin. INSERTING THE BOBBIN Attention: Turn power switch OFF ("O") before inserting or removing the bobbin. 1. Hold the bobbin case with one hand.

Remove the needle, presser foot, and presser foot holder. Remove the screws holding the needle plate and remove the needle plate. 4 5. Apply a drop of oil (every 15 to 20 hours of operation) to the hook as shown in the illustration. MAINTENANCE 2. Remove the bobbin. 3 4. Clean the hook race, feed dogs and bobbin case with a brush.
