Set the keyboard aside. iBook G4 Keyboard - 5 Lift the RAM shield (with screws attached) out of the computer. (Figure 7) Figure 7 3. Important: Pull straight up until the connector releases. Firmly grasp the cable, and carefully pull it straight up , do not twist or pull the cable sideways. 2. Note: If needed, use your fingers to pry up the connector from side to side.
