To remove the spare tire: Open the lid and hang the hook provided on the under side of the lid on the rear edge of emergency 1 1 3 2 1) Jack 2) Jack handle 3) Spare tire 2 HS9005BB 3 5. HS9004BB 1) Storage bucket 2) Attaching bolt 3) Spare tire The jack is stored under the left side of the cargo area. Turn the attaching bolt counterclockwise, then take spare tire out. Take out the spare tire, jack, and wheel nut wrench. The spare tire is stored under the floor of the cargo floor. 9-4 Remove the storage bucket.

To take out the jack: First raise the cargo tie-down hook on the rear-left and center lids in the cargo area by pulling their tabs. - CONTINUED - 9-5 In case of emergency HS9006BA HS9007BA To take out the jack handle: Open the rear-left side of the cargo area and pull the tab to open the lid, turn the jack screw counterclockwise to loosen it, then remove the jack.

In case of emergency jack-up point. HS9011BA HS9010BA 8. Do not raise the vehicle higher than necessary. 9. HS9012AA 10.Before putting the spare tire on, clean the mounting - CONTINUED - 9-7 Remove the wheel nuts and the flat tire. Turn the jackscrew by hand until the tire clears the ground. Insert the jack handle into the jackscrew, and turn the handle until the jack head engages firmly into the jack-up point closest to the flat tire.
