Before closing the hood, be sure all the filler caps are on the hood prop. Then let the hood down and close it firmly. 5-11 Remove the hood prop from its retainer. Then lift the hood to its retainer and put the hood prop into the slot in the hood and return the prop to relieve pressure on properly. Release the hood prop rod from the slot in the hood marked PROP ROD. Lift the hood. 4. 3.
