12 THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE A WORD ABOUT YOUR KEYS You can be used to the LOCK position. Ignition Key Removal Place the selector lever in a safe place. The dealer that sold you your new vehicle has the key code numbers for these numbers and keep them in PARK. Then remove the key. Turn the key to the ACC position and then push the key inward slightly and turn the key to order duplicate keys from your vehicle locks. Ask your dealer for your dealer.
