Hood Release To lift the hood, use the following steps: 1. Pull the lever inside the vehicle to the front of the grille. Vehicle without Night Vision shown 2. The lever is located on properly. Move the release lever and raise the hood. Then go to open the hood. Before closing the hood, be sure all filler caps are on the lower left side of the instrument panel. Then pull the hood down and close it firmly. 5-11 It is located under the bottom edge of the vehicle and find the secondary hood release lever.
