It is located under the bottom edge of the grille. Before closing the hood, be sure all filler caps are on the lower left side of the vehicle and find the secondary hood release lever. Hood Release To lift the hood, use the following steps: 1. The lever is located on properly. Pull the lever inside the vehicle to the front of the instrument panel. Move the release lever and raise the hood. Then pull the hood down and close it firmly. 5-11 Vehicle without Night Vision shown 2. Then go to open the hood.
