Stupid desk furniture!!! Don't buy! My husband and I love the look of pottery barn desk furniture. I purchased 2 file cabinets, the corner unit and a separate long desk with legs to create an extension. we were told you just take one small piece off and put the extension on! Not so! the extension doesn't have peg slots to attach, nor is it designed to accommodate the bridge brackets. We decided to phone and simply purchase another set of legs and have a separate extension! No, they don't let you purchase legs unless you purchase another a desk top you don't need! HUH! I would never purchase this unit again!

I spent $80 on bathtowels last week. They are the worst towels I have ever had...I can't believe they even passed quality inspection. They don't absorb water at all!
So disappointed. Would like my money back.

Spent $1,000.00 on Bedford Modular desk from PB. It is the cheapest put together piece of furniture I have ever owned....Every drawer glide is off track. When I took it apart to try and fix it, I noticed that the ball bearings had all fell out and were in the bottom of the drawer. There was only (1)screw out of the (3)that was there. I paid the money for quality and have been very disappointed. Also the pain finish is not durable, I constantly have to clean it...and chips easily!

Bad Customer Service
They really don't know where anything is at, and never help. They're friendly though, but that doesn't really help. If they didn't have cool stuff, I wouldn't go.Anonymous-45031.... December 9th, 2011
Pottery Barn customer service is the worst
Bought 3 lighted murcury trees the lights did not come with the trees as stated in catalog. Customer service was rude and short told me I did not have a legitimate complaint. Spent $250 on these items that is the last time Pb will get any of my money. They have some nice looking items but I wont shop with a company that is rude to their customers.Anonymous-31642.... I received a silver plated frame as a gift several years ago. It has Pottery Barn stamped on the side of it. I was polishing silver yesterday and COULD NOT get the tarnish off the frame. I put the polish on, and it came of, but the tarnish didn't even after several tries. I don't think the frame is tarnished. I now think it is defective and discolored.
I called customer service, and they refused to do anything because I was out of warranty (30 days) and didn't have a receipt. To me this says that Pottery Barn won't stand behind its products. Though they charge fairly steep prices, their products are not of good quality and don't stand up over time.
