Remote Not Working Replaced Batteries Still Not Working

If you have original remote then it should not have to be reprogrammed to operate the TV. If it's a universal remote then that model number is needed to see the codes.

There is a possibility that the remoteor the receiver in the TV is failing. There isn easy way to test the remote, just point the remote at the camera in your cell phone while pressing buttons. If you see the LED on the remote light up on your view finder then the remote is transmitting. The last thing is there could be a energy saving lamp or neon shining on the remote receiver in the TV and it's flooding the signal from your remote.
