10-73 is an SMTP error.  The machine can't reach the SMTP server.  Make sure the SMTP address is entered correctly, and make sure the SMTP server is on and accessible.

10-61 is a POP server error.  Both of these errors together suggest either a network connection issue, or the wrong IP addresses were used.
