Go to www.duckduckgo.com and search for 'Domino 5.0.11 logs' this resulted in a list and the third item gave 'enable detailed logging'. It will not recover old data but record future info.
Try this. Sorry not to be more consise

Note that THERE ARE NO LOGS SHOWING DELETION. Deletion is always considered a regular document WRITE in teh log (activity log, user usage, database usage, Misc. events). the only exception is the replicator, which notes deletions separately. If this database replicates frequently, you canuse the replication period to narrow the time when deletions mayhave occured, and match that up against use usage... and against other replications, because the deletion could have come from another replica copy as well. Also you can use Lotus Notes Repair Kit to try to recover your files. Maybe something will work out.
