How Can I Find Form My Logs Who Deleted Documents?

In one of our LN application databases I noticed that 47 dox have been deleted. I check the log.nsf miscellaneous and I do not find it. Then File, Database, properties , user details again nothing. Any suggestion where I could look to get this answer? We still use the default logging of Domino 5.0.11 Thanks!

Not sure if what I have will help or not. I have found some info on logging but if the doxs have already been deleted then referring to a backup would be your only solution but that will not tell you who deleted them. By default the simple form of log is created, as full logging creates an enormous amount of data. It can be done for a short period I suppose, to diagnose a fault but not advisable for everyday.

Go to www.duckduckgo.com and search for 'Domino 5.0.11 logs' this resulted in a list and the third item gave 'enable detailed logging'. It will not recover old data but record future info.

Try this. Sorry not to be more consise

The only real clue you have is UNID, and to match that UNID to the original doc, you would need to pull a backup that still has that doc.

Note that THERE ARE NO LOGS SHOWING DELETION. Deletion is always considered a regular document WRITE in teh log (activity log, user usage, database usage, Misc. events). the only exception is the replicator, which notes deletions separately. If this database replicates frequently, you canuse the replication period to narrow the time when deletions mayhave occured, and match that up against use usage... and against other replications, because the deletion could have come from another replica copy as well. Also you can use Lotus Notes Repair Kit to try to recover your files. Maybe something will work out.
