Ambient Temp Error E1114 With A Dell 2950.
I have an ambient temp error E1114 with a dell 2950. Any comments would be greatly appreciated

With any ambient temp error you want to ensure there are no other errors following the E1114 that may indicate a fan failure. If you have no other error codes or fan failures, then I would proceed with looking at possible debris in the server, proper air flow, and proper server room cooling.
If you do have a fan failure then contact support to get it replaced. Once replaced it should not have any issues cooling.
Here is the owners manual on the 2950. Page 19 starts the LCD screen codes, and page 119 should go over cooling system troubleshooting.
