6 Different Credit Cards Declined In Nyc
I've tried posting the same job posting using 6 different computers and 3 different browsers using 6 different credit cards, but the payment won't go through. Is there any way to pay by phone? What could be the problem?

Well I'm from an art school and we're looking for more instructors. I wrote up a job listing and have tried posting it from both Mac & PCs; Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and IE; and I used 6 credit cards belonging to different coworkers (with their permission of course), but each time-for the past week and a half-my payment info gets rejected. I get the following message: Credit Card Declined. What could be the problem?

Thanks for the additional information, but it's not sufficient to determine the problem. Fortunately, Craigslist maintains a support channel for an issue of this type. You may use it in either of these 2 ways:

I had the same problem so I called Craigslist. They told me to try again and if it didn't work, try again in three more hours. When I asked what would happen if it didn't work in three hours (which of course it didn't) what should I do? Their brilliant answer was "keep trying". How many millions of dollars are they losing daily because they cannot process a simple credit card transaction? Ridiculous!
