Why Does Itunes Charge Debit Card If Gift Card Is Used
In order to utilise Itunes I had to give my banking info. I bought my daughter an ipod touch and a bunch of itune gift cards. We entered teh gift cards so she could download apps on her touch but they are charging my debit card and the gift card--WHY?

if you use the same debit card to buy the itunes gift card. you should only get charged for the giftcard itself.
And before using the giftcard, you need to redeem it first so the ammount is added to your account. And please note that the giftcard you buy must be for a specific area. For example, you can only use a U.S itunes giftstore for a U.S itunes account to buy app on the U.S itunes store.
