• As a new Seller, you have to establish a track record. Buyers affect your track record with their feedback. You need to communicate with the buyer to thank them for being the successful bidder or buyer of Buy it Now. You need to package the item well and promptly and ship it out as soon as payment has cleared. At that point you need to so advise them. These details can be linked to your selling account. 
• The most important thing is getting top marks in all Feedback  areas - you don't have to leave feedback for your buyers until you receive theirs.  It doesn't hurt to include a short note reminding them to leave positive feedback if they are happy with the auction and you will do the same for them.
• So many Sellers have just been on eBay to scam other eBayers that eBay is very conservative.  Extablish a track record of positive feedback and the restrictions will be removed.
• Some Sellers are buyers first. They do all the right things as buyers including paying as soon as the auction ends. In that way they build positive feedback even though it is as a buyer only.
• It might help if you could find some smaller items to sell as well if that is possible for your specialty. Consider this part of growing the business.

It is tougher on eBay now than it was even 3 years ago.  Performance standards have been raised.
