Why Won't Gems With Friends Allow Me To Log In?

I purchased Gems with Friends and it won't allow me to log in.  It tells me the server is busy and to try again in a few minutes.  I have deleted and reinstalled the app on my iPad.

I Know the Answer!

My solution: don't use the "sign in automatically" button. Instead, choose "sign in using another email" option, then just use your current user name's email and password. This should get you right in.
