How Do I Get Rid Of Verizon Ad And Get Back Into Wwf

I was playing WWF and a Verizon pop up ad came on. I CANT GET RID OD IT. I cant delete it to get back into my WWF

Yours is probably not as easy an answer as mine. I actually turned my iPad completely off and then restarted it - and it was fine.
