Problem With Chat On Words With Friends

For two weeks now I have not been able to type more than two lines on the chat section of words with friends. I have tried rebooting my iPad Air and have also uninstalled and reinstalled words with friends and nothing is working.I have sent request for help through various sites and have had no response except to say help is on the way. Where is the help!! I am very frustrated at this point
