Mobile User - Cityville Hometown

I have been unable to log into CityVille Hometown on my iPad.  It tells me to log into facebook, and when I do it and give permissions, I receive a message that says "An error has occured with Cityville Hometown.  Please try again later."  I have even downloaded the upgrade, but still cannot log in.  Is the site down for repairs?  If so can you tell me how long before it will it be back up?
