Gsme In Castleville Keeps Freezing

I am new to Zynga but have been playing for the past month and half.  I was playing through Facebook but was having crash problems.  So instructions given were to access through Google Chrome.  That seemed to fix the problem, but the past week I can barely playing the game without it freezing.  I will be in the middle of completing quest, task, leveling up, etc. (it is related to one specific thing) I get a box that says "Saving game", please wait.  So you wait, but nothing happens.  So you refresh and all the things you just did is lost.  You then close, restart your computer, clear your cache but still have the same problem.  I am vey upset, because I Love playing Casetleville and now it looks like I won't be able to unless you can give me a solution.  I am not going to keep redoing task hoping I don't lose my progress.  i also have one of the characters who is stuck on my court yard that won't move hindering my ability to move things around.  PLEASE HELP!
