City Ville Hometown Is Wack Again!

I need help! I can't retry the gifts from my neighbors! Everytime I try to use my gifts the game closes and I have to open again! The same thing is happening with Holiday Town! Another problem is that the animated items are not working either!   It looks like a ghost town, no activity whatsoever!!!
