You can't just upload a video and make money. You must set up your account to run ads that pay corresponding to the number of views/length of view.

As you upload more videos to the channel that you run then the more people will in turn watch it

When you have enough people then you can add ads as you see when watching other peoples ads and thus if you click on the ad on their video then they get paid on how many people click on the ad/watch it
