Sustain No Longer Holds Long Enough

I've played my dgx-640 for over a year, and it's always been fabulous. But today, I noticed the sustain (I use the 3-pedal mounted accessory unit) isn't holding very long at all. It holds a small time, but not like it had been. Any idea what's wrong?
