Possible E-mail Hacking

I have recently had problems with an unknown email in my mail so i deleted it. or so I thought. But then it showed up as a tab, then 2 of them with foreign names. All I could do was x them out, but each time I open my mail they appear. Now they are gone but my email is acting as if it has a virus. Deleting all mail un opened. Seeing some mail but cannot open it. Please tell me what to do.
