Wow, that's a different tactic for a scammer to use and I am positive this is a scam. And, unfortunately the answer previously provided includes a link for a small business to report an issue, not a personal account.

However, I can understand you feeling scared at first, and maybe even uncomfortable thinking someone may be watching you. This intimidation is exactly what the scammer wants you to feel. 

My suggestion is you don't respond bacck to the scammer (or feel that it's necessary to create a new account) Instead, forward the emails to:

Shortly after you forward this email, Customer Care will email you an incident number with an acknowledgment page. 

Any time you would like to check the status of the report, with a yahoo team member, please include the incident number.
