Emailed Hacked. I'm Locked Out. Hackers Have Changed Password And Secret Quest

My Yahoo emailed has been hacked and locked for 5 days. When I tried to sigh in Yahoo did not recognize my ID or my correct answer to my secret question. I have gove through their help sites which have not been of use. I have filed an incident report with Yahoo, but have had no response. Hackers have sent out fraudulent requests for money to memebers of my address book.

I assume that you have tried the Yahoo! account page which has the box My account may have been compromised. If you haven't been to that page, try it.

If you have tried it, call Yahoo at 899-562-7219 to reach a person press 2 when prompted by the automated switchboard. They receive calls Monday-Friday: 6am - 6pm Pacific Time

It is always a good idea to have a backup account which has both your contact list and is listed as the other email to notify...in the event that...

I know that you feel terrible about it and helpless because Yahoo has not done the best job in protecting users' security.
