I Have Had A Yahoo Email Address Forever.

Recently a spam email went out to everyone of my contacts that I obviously did not send out. The yahoo account was LOCKED and I have had a couple emails from Yahoo saying that the information I gave them didnt match their records..OF COURSE they didnt because someone or thing has caused this account to be locked I havenot heard anything from them and I have lost ALL contact info and everything else I had...what can I do?

Yahoo has a "password helper" feature that will get you back on track. That can be found here. Remember, Yahoo would never ask for your password or send emails reporting information "did not match their records". That may have been a scammer and the reason your account is compromised.
