Sending Email W/o My Knowledge

Why did my yahoo mail sent spam mails to my friends? One of my friend contacted me last night to point this to my attetion. She told me that I had flooded her inbox with spam mails that I did not even send! Now I was trying to repport this to Yahoo but I just got an email that I need to contact customer support! HOW??? Now I am here filing this again.

You can ask Yahoo for help with this form. You can also try 866-924-6676, 866-562-7219, 408-349-3300, or 866-850-4303. However, Yahoo phone support in general is feeble at best. You can write Yahoo by snail mail at 701 1st Av., Sunnyvale, CA 94089.

Yahoo is not sending the spam emails. Someone has hacked into your account to send them. To stop them, change your password:

Go to Yahoo! Account Info.
Select Change your password.
