Problems Logging Into Yahoo Mail From A New Device

I am travelling and REALLY need access to my yahoo mail, but when I try to log in from a new device it tells me that I have to verify my identity by logging into an email account.... at an old workplace back in my home country...!! I can currently log in through my iPad, but I can't change any of the account settings or use any of the functionality I need. I can't send emails to yahoo help because they require me to log in to yahoo (from a new device, which I can't do) and I have spent 30mns on hold by telephone so far to try to reach customer service by telephone, paying overseas charges. Can anyone cancel this added security measure for me so that I can log into my account using my normal password or will I be forced to abandon yahoo after 15 years??!!

There should be a captcha, can you see that? if yes enter the captcha correctly.

make sure you are logging in yahoo."your country domain" e.g yahoo.in or yahoo.uk etc.

If there is no captcha you can check to see if the device flash is working well or not.
