Although it looks like it is a simple Java problem But sometimes yahoo mail page reacts to an intrusion by locking composing features. I know a support company that can take care of your issue and safe guard your mail account. Go to this site fixyouremail.com call them on their no. Worked for me, they asked me a couple of questions and fixed the issue for me. Hope this works for you too. Best of luck.
