How Can I Get An Alternate Server Setting From Yahoo For My Yahoo Mail Account?

I was instructed by the Apple care folks to ask Yahoo for an alternate server setting so that I can set it up in my mail application on my macbook pro to address a problem I am having with password window popping up frequently when I am in my mail account (even thoough I have saved the password to my "keychain access"
