There is a possibility that someone else is using your account. In that case, changing your password on the Account Info page should resolve the issue. You’ll be asked to sign in before proceeding. In the first section of the page, click Change Password and follow the instructions.

If you can't sign in to change your password, Yahoo suggests unsubscribing from unneeded mailing lists. Then try again. These and other Yahoo suggestions are here.

Of course you can always switch from Yahoo to another provider. I recommend Gmail.
